The Cape Point Nature Reserve boasts spectacular scenery, and is overflowing with diversity. From fascinating shipwrecks to rare plants and indigenous animals, this is one adventure worth embarking on.
Nestled within the southern section of Table Mountain National Park, this gorgeous gem is a treat for tranquillity-seekers hoping to escape the bustle of those glaring city lights and busy streets.
Rugged rocks and sheer cliffs towering more than 200 metres above the sea and cutting deep into the ocean, provide an incredible background for the park’s rich biodiversity.
And what better way to dive into nature than on a guided hiking adventure with beach walks to see the shipwreck and searching for endangered golden dune moles. With some luck, you might spot some Bontebok drinking water or take advantage of the opportunity to snap some pics for the ‘gram.
An experienced nature guide/tracker and first aider will be by your side during your hike, and has spent the last eight years guiding guests on safaris. This level 3 tracker has three years of experience in the capture and release of venomous snakes with multiple courses in snake handling.
A first aid kit and satellite phone will be carried along as well, as the guide educates guests about the unique flora and fauna that encapsulates this scenic location.
