The Montagu Guano Cave offers a variety of accommodation options ranging from their campsites to their quaint Stone Cottage. The holiday resort aims to ensure a memorable stay for you, your family and friends at the foot of the Langeberg mountain in the Klein Karoo.
The resort offers so many fun activities for the family to enjoy including horse riding, hiking, swimming in their heated rock pools, a scenic tractor trip (which takes you into the mountain to experience the cave) and so much more!
The Cave is home to thousands of bats and is hundreds of metres deep – awaiting new and curious adventurers. Visitors are greeted by a bushman painting at the entrance of the cave which tells stories of a long, long time ago.

- Open 8am – 5pm
- The resort is open from 8am, but pools are open from 10am onwards
- Animal Farm/Rabbit World – R70 Adult And R50 Children u/12 / horse/Pony rides (R70)
Beach Pool and Roman Bath
- Large Beach pool with super tube and fast slides
- Entry to Beach pools are R200 per person and R150 for children under the age of 12
- In-house guests gain free entry to pools
- No entry without pre-booking, a limited amount of day visitors allowed
- The roman bath is free to all in-house guests
Restaurant
- The restaurant offers woodfire pizza, hamburgers and more and is open seven days a week from 8am – 5pm
- Can remain open later by prior arrangement only
Tractor and Jeep Trips
- Day Visitors: R150 Adult and R130 Children Under 12
- Residents: R130 Adult, R110 Children Under 12
- Trips At 10am, 1pm, And 3pm daily
- Minimum of 4 guests
