Mother City residents have been eagerly awaiting the match between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal at the Cape Town Stadium on February 7, 2020, and new additions to the day promise a memorable event. The acclaimed Zip-Zap Circus and Ndlovu Youth Choir will entertain crowds during the Match in Africa exhibition.

Founded in 1992, Zip Zap is an innovative academy that nurtures talent and empowers young people from diverse backgrounds. This Exhibition Match will showcase the remarkable and awe-inspiring talent of fifty of their top performers. The performance will comprise of four acts harmoniously blended with the Choir’s upbeat and rousing choral anthems.

Zip Zap Circus have performed for the Match in Africa exhibition in previous years, and are once again bringing their talents to this worthy cause that aims to raise funds for education in Africa.

Of course, Ndlovu Youth Choir is well-known for their rise to fame on the America’s Got Talent stage. Since then, they’ve released their first studio album, Africa, and amassed fans the world over.

Lucky ticket holders will be blown away by the talents of these groups. Drawn from Zip Zap’s youth and vocational programme, the troupe will delight tennis enthusiasts with colourful and daring acrobatics blended with hula hoops, comedy acrobatic, juggling, unicycle and floor tumbling.

Organisers have been hard at work designing a safe and technically competent rigging system to allow for mesmerising trapeze and aerial acts. Anticipate a perfect blend of world-class tennis, African rhythms and gravity-defying circus arts.
