It may not be Friday yet but we know just the thing to tide you over until you get there. The GOODWoodstock market is offering all visitors free wine tastings at the GOODBar for Wine Down Thursdays.
One of Cape Town’s latest market addition, the GOODwoodstock market is the perfect spot for a midweek escape from busy working life. With a wide range of food and drink vendors to choose from, market-goers are spoilt for choice when it comes to grabbing a bite to eat or enjoying a good cocktail.
A selection of unique lifestyle vendors are also among the options from clothing to toiletries and even a unique insect restaurant experience.
Each week a new wine will take centre stage and offer guests a new flavour profile to sip and savour. Tastings run from 4pm to 9pm every Thursday.
The lineup for November’s Wine Down Thursdays features Gabrielskloof on November 14, Rudi Schultz with On Point Wines and lastly Public Wines on November 28.
While locals can enjoy this free offering every Thursday, on Tasty Tuesdays visitors can enjoy selected meals from a wide range of food vendors for just R60 between 5pm and 9pm.
