First Fridays Riebeek Valley is going to host its Christmas celebration weekend from December 4 – 6. This is a tourism, art, food, and hospitality event to kick off your festive spirit.
First Fridays is a free, business-based initiative to promote Riebeek-Valley tourism, art, food and hospitality and takes place on the first weekend of every month. Each month has a unique theme and local retailers and businesses extend their hours until 8pm, whilst many also offer specials and discounts.
The festive weekend will be filled with shopping, entertainment, food, and outdoor activities, such as live music performances, a farmers market, comic club performances, art openings, wine tastings, and performing arts in the newly launched Royal Arts Town Amphitheater (RATA) in Riebeek-Kasteel.
The whole family is welcome, as there will be kid-friendly activities that will be available.
The weekend celebrations will start on December 4 with a great kickstart to the programme.
