A good Samaritan has started a Backabuddy to raise funds for an employee of Laughton’s in Sea Point.

“Virtue’s home was robbed last week by some thieves posing to be from Eskom and needing to check his electricity meter. His home was ransacked and everything, I mean everything, was stolen including his son Kendrick’s clothes,” the Samaritan named Tracey wrote in a short description on Backabuddy.

“Virtue who works at Laughton’s in Sea Point is a hardworking man and his family have nothing left. The criminals even made off with the double adaptors in his home.”

The Backabuddy was started to help Vitrue raise money for his family to purchase clothing and other necessities for the home.

“Once the funds are raised we will give Virtue and his wife Jane the vouchers to shop for emergency clothes and items for their home,” Tracey said. “The spineless thieves have literally ransacked his place and stolen all their clothes and household goods. Any donation will help this family get back on their feet after this traumatic experience.”
