The annual and long-awaited Kirstenbosch summer concert line up for the warmer season from November 2018 to the end of March 2019 has been announced and is filled with international and locally loved musicians and bands.

The  Kirstenbosch summer concert edition is a must-attend event for locals and is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the summer season out in the sun.

Known for its family-friendly appeal, the summer concerts is the perfect place for patrons to enjoy a refreshing drink in the hot sun or lay out their picnic set to watch their favourite musician perform.

Refreshments will be available at the concert venue, alcoholic drinks are permitted and a picnic basket can be purchased from the on-site Moyo restaurant.

International acts for this up-coming season include bands such as James, one of the most iconic British bands who perform rock, pop and indie music for audiences and has sold over 25 million copies of their album.

James will be performing live at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on 24 November 2018.

Local bands that are scheduled to perform such as Goldfish, Freshlyground, Parlotones and more will have you moving your hips to the beat. New Year celebrations to welcome 2019 at the local botanical gardens will be hosted with a performance by Jeremy Loops and Crimson House.

 

Tickets 

Tickets can only be purchased on Webtickets and there are various rates for tickets, ranging from R150 – R415.

Children under the age of six years can enter for free and do not require a concert ticket.
