Dreamy winelands property La Residence in Franschhoek has been named one of the Top 100 Hotel in the World by Elite Traveller, an in-flight magazine exclusively for the backseat of private jets and aimed at wealthy readers.
Overall, the hotels on the list made the cut because, according to Elite Traveller, they “offer the most captivating atmosphere, extraordinary comfort, impeccable service and standout amenities.”
More than 24 of the hotels on the list are based in the United States, including The Plaza, in New York City, and the Four Seasons New York. These are also the hotels that are also the most expensive, as they each cost approximately R688 000 to stay in per night.
