The famous Maynardville Open Air Theatre is preparing to provide locals from across the Cape with endless evenings of summer entertainment. Starting from 17 January to 10 March, this year’s program will have something for each family member, ranging from live music concerts to comedy shows.
Make sure to partake in the Maynardville tradition of packing a crammed picnic basket to enjoy before the show, and enjoy the tranquility of Maynardville Park.
The theatre also has a convenient bar and coffee shop facility available for those who don’t have time to pack a picnic basket.
One of the country’s top comedians, Rob Van Vuuren, will host a comedy lineup called Jesters in the Park. A Shakespearean play, titled Richard III, that is sure to wow crowds among other shows.
