The word tittewyt is commonly used in Afrikaans but its English counterpart, titivate, is said to derive from Old English of the early 18th century.
‘I just wanted something that has a meaning and would make sense because that’s the thing females are great at,’ said Scholtz to the DailyVoice.

Riaan goes on to say that his inspiration for the title came when a female told him she was busy ‘tittewyting’ while her husband waited patiently.
The song is an ode to females who care for beauty and appearance and it is Scholtz’s way of giving them flowers.
Jack Parow and Mr Heinz met at a festival, where they exchanged contact information.
According to Mr Heinz, Parow was the perfect addition to the hit song and he described working with Parow as ‘a huge honour.’
The song can be streamed on YouTube and all other digital platforms.
