This February, NOMAD Bistro & Bar, located at 33 Waterkant Street in the heart of the Mother City CBD, is hosting the Cape Town Experiences Awards 2019, a gala event of six intimate ceremonies acknowledging and rewarding 120 outstanding businesses and individuals in their unique fields.

With 600 industry professionals nominated, the Cape Town Experiences Awards 2019 aims to celebrate excellence in the Cape.

Industry award ceremonies are to run as follows:

– February 19 – Tourism Adventures & Activities

– February 20 – Arts & Entertainment

– February 21 – Media & Biz

– February 26 – Wine, Beer & Spirits

– February 27 – Hospitality & Bars

– February 28 – Restaurant Awards

National award-nominated comic Kolping Mbumba will be hosting the ceremonies alongside Sachi Okada, a local fashion icon and entertainment entrepreneur. 

Kimberley Lopes of Cape Town Experiences Awards says, “Each ceremony will be a red carpet gathering of industry professionals… The Cape Town Experiences Awards 2019 will be the perfect blend of auditorium-style seating and glamourous outdoor socialising.”

The guest list of nominees includes names of who’s who around Cape Town, with every big brand name on the list, including Café Caprice, Inverroche, international performer Roland Albertson, Six Dogs Blue, esteemed chef Jan Hendrik van der Westhuizen, radio presenters Sara-Jayne King, and The Humble Lord Veesus, Waterfront Charters, Hussar Grill, legendary comedian Tracy Klass, Shimmy Beach Club, Musgrave, Souk, and Modular – to name but a few.

Guests flying in from around South Africa and abroad will be accommodated at our newly-opened NOMAD Boutique Backpackers.

This event is taking the Cape by storm as the Mother City’s biggest brands reach out to their followers for reader’s choice voting, which will make up 40% of the final decision for the winners.
