A trendy, chic and eco-friendly Signature Lux hotel by renowned accommodation company, ONOMO will open it’s doors at the V &A Waterfront in September and is the second of its kind in South Africa.
The new hotel will cost R120-million and will be located a mere 500 meters from the bustling V&A Waterfront shopping centre and provides an accessible point for visitors to explore the city.
With a location set in Cape Town, the luxury home away from home is part of a new generation of hotels in South Africa and is based on a fast growing European hotel brand.
ONOMO hotels scattered across the globe in business capitals from Dakar, Abidjan, Lomé, Kigali, Conakry, Johannesburg and now the Mother City.
Signature Lux hotel branch in Johannesburg opened in 2017 and has achieved 95 % occupancy in the first year of trading.
Techical innovation
The Signature Lux hotel ONOMO brand aims to provide the millennial and business travellers an affordable and exceptional experience.

Offering a unique experience, the ONOMO hotel provides guests a fully integrated app to manage all admin from checking in at any location to using you cell number as your room key, automated house keeping services and internal Wi-Fi calling.
Dining
The restaurant and dining area adequately labelled as ‘Vivaldi’ for its opulence and creative flair, offers a feast for the senses with decor inspired by Louis the 14th with a touch of African influence.
Each space is decorated with art and merges both a European and African appeal. Vivaldi will offer live entertainment along with a soon-to-be -launched mouth-watering menu.
Rooms
The hotel plans to have 87 bedrooms with 45 interleading bedrooms making it ideal for family stays or those traveling for business purposes.
Room will range between 16 meters squared to 27 meter squared.
The hotel aims to provide affordable accommodation with a daily room rate of R995 and R1200 per person/per night over the 2018 festive season
