Kauai’s healthy food heritage and Pick n Pay’s drive to make healthier eating more accessible means this is a perfect partnership that brings customers a range of easy, healthy and affordable meals and smoothies to enjoy at home.
The new range includes frozen ready-to-eat meals, sides and smoothies and are available in Pick n Pay stores across the country.
The Pick n Pay powered by Kauai range includes Kauai’s top selling smoothies. Customers need only blend the contents at home to enjoy the same smoothie they’d buy at Kauai. The delicious flavours include Strawberry Stinger, Tropical Greens, See Monster and Plant Power – and each are packed with nutrients and goodness.
The range of frozen ready-made meals and sides simply need to be defrosted, heated and served – making them a perfect no-fuss healthy meal option. The range includes dishes such as the Butta Chicken Bowl and the Moroccan Chicken & Chickpea Bowl, both made with free range chicken. The range also includes a few vegan options, such as a Thai Veg Curry Bowl and Mexi Veggie Bowl.
Customer can also mix and match side dishes, such as the Spiced Butternut or the Ancient Grains Mix, to complement their main meal.
The new range forms part of Pick n Pay’s Livewell range which aims to help customers make smarter, healthier food choices with complete ease. Each product in the Livewell range includes easy-to-read labels, making it easier for customers to know exactly what they are eating and whether it matches their dietary needs.
