Dedicated to South Africa’s own unique grape varietal, International Pinotage Day will be celebrated at Lanzerac over the entire weekend, and what better way to spend this dazzling occasion than at the home of the world’s first commercially bottled Pinotage.
The celebration is set to take place on Saturday, October 9 and Sunday, October 10, in the Tasting Room & Deli which will be transformed into a wine lover’s dream. Relax and enjoy a perfect Wineland’s day out with friends and family while listening to live entertainment by LLEVADO.
The wine tasting experience, along with a unique Pinotage tasting, will provide guests with the opportunity to explore Lanzerac’s wine range. The wine tasting station will offer the convenience to purchase your favourite Lanzerac wine to enjoy on the day.
Guests can look forward to enjoying an array of delicious food from the Lanzerac Deli menu, paired with your favourite Lanzerac wines and Gin cocktails from the wine station.
Lanzerac’s Cellar Master, Wynand Lategan will host two private Pinotage Tasting experiences on Saturday in the working wine cellar, providing guests with an in-depth knowledge of both the estate’s range of Pinotage wines, rich Pinotage pioneering heritage and vineyard practices pertaining to the Pinotage vines.
The tasting will commence at 11am and 2pm with tickets priced at R195 per person.
