South Africans are reminded that this is the last weekend to vote for Table Mountain as the leading world attraction in the annual World Travel Awards.

The winners of the Africa region in the World Travel Awards will be announced on November 9, and Table Mountain is contesting this award with five African giants in the attractions industry – Mountain Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt and two of the fellow Cape Town Big Six attractions; Robben Island and the V&A Waterfront.

The World Travel Awards celebrates excellence in the tourism and hospitality industries. The winners are determined by a voting process and will be announced in November.

Voting for the World category closes at midnight on October 25. To vote for Table Mountain, visit www.worldtravelawards.com/vote.

How can you cast your vote?

– Register for an account in order to cast your vote
– A verification email will be sent to your email account and you will need to click the verification link to verify your email address before you can login to cast your vote
– To vote for Table Mountain, select the ‘World’ region from the Region Menu
– The first award will be presented for voting
– Nominees are listed alphabetically within the category – scroll down to Table Mountain to cast your vote
