Beginning in September, Hudsons will be teaming up with South Africa’s leading chefs to create exclusive, one-of-a-kind burgers, with a portion of proceeds going to various charities chosen by the chefs.
Each month, Hudsons will feature a special burger crafted by a renowned South African chef, available at all Hudsons locations. Priced at R200, this burger will be served with fries and a beverage. In a generous gesture, Hudsons will donate 30% of each burger sale to a charity selected by the chef.
To kick off the initiative, Hudsons will host a ‘kitchen takeover’ event at the beginning of each month. During these exclusive events, the featured chef will take over the Hudsons kitchen for an evening, offering guests a unique opportunity to interact with the culinary star and experience their signature burger creation first-hand.
The inaugural month features a collaboration with the esteemed Liam Tomlin of Chef’s Warehouse. On Wednesday, 4 September, Tomlin will take over Hudsons’ Kloof Street store from 7pm, bringing his culinary expertise and flair to the Hudsons kitchen. His specially crafted burger will be available throughout September, with 30% of sales benefiting Reach for a Dream, a charity dedicated to fulfilling dreams for children battling life-threatening illnesses.
