Soi Bar has just opened on 9 Kloof Nek Road and foodies are buzzing. It’s all about Asian-inspired tapas, next-level sushi, and creative cocktails.
The space is quaint but mighty fine. Here, taste is served on plates and beyond. Neon lights, a flower-studded wall and quirky Asian touches round off this culturally cool experience.
The menu is set for sharing – an epic date night idea. On it, is everything from plump potstickers to Peking duck. Asian cuisine is at the forefront, but you can expect some local and international twists too. Springbok carpaccio roses? Local is so lekker.
The sushi is something to celebrate. You’re sorted with all your favourite classics, and spoilt for choice with signature creations. Tempura prawn, cream cheese, tempura crunch and spicy mayo? We’ll take extra to go.

Everything is served with a touch of magic. Soi Bar has elevated each dish with its exceptional attention to detail. From whisps of smoke to Soi-branded wasabi. As for the cocktails, the Rose Bath – literally served in a mini bath – and Apollo spaceman are already iconic.
