Heritage Day is the perfect mid-week break to explore the Mother City with fresh eyes. The weather is expected to be warm and pleasant, and VoiceMap is offering a free audio tour of Cape Town to help you take advantage of the day.

Some of the routes to choose from include one exploring the Bo-Kaap, tracing the Cape’s original shoreline and a beautiful tour of Table Mountain. There is also one to listen to as you queue for the cablecar.
Follow these steps to get started. All you require is a cellphone, data and a pair of earphones:
– Install VoiceMap from the Apple App Store or Google Play
– Create an account
– Select Tour Codes from the menu, then select Enter Codes
– Enter the code heritage then select Download Now
– Go to your tour location, put in your headphones and press Start Tour
