Having left its nest at the Crystal Towers Hotel, The Coffee Lounge ventured out on its own and found its new home at the Manhattan Suite Hotel in Century City, Cape Town back in 2020. But recently, it’s been making its rounds on TikTok reigniting its popularity. So we thought we’d take some time to talk about it.
The Coffee Lounge brings together coffee lovers, sweet tooth’s, and foodies of all kinds with its wide range of food options.
This includes everything from an all-day breakfast, light meal, finger foods, hearty main courses to an amazing feast of sweet treats like inventive cheesecakes, mouthwatering pastries, rich cakes, and a variety of breads sure to suit every taste, diet, and mood. Not to forget, there’s even a high tea option as well.
Additionally, among smoothies and cold-pressed juices, they provide a wide variety of teas and coffees, including rooibos-based drinks, matcha lattes, chai variations, and their famed turmeric alternatives. This place is undoubtedly a heaven for aficionados. Even more heavenly is the cute froth designs they serve with the drinks.
Did I mention that they are fully halaal too?
They are currently running a breakfast special between Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 12.00 pm that’s valid until the end of this month (31 July 2022). Its R125 for two people with a choice of any two breakfasts.
