Airlink is launching new direct flights between Cape Town and Gaborone, starting on 1 April 2025, Cape {town} Etc reports.
Flights will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with the flight from Cape Town to Gaborone that will leave at 10:50am and arrive at 1pm.
The return flight will depart Gaborone at 1:45pm and land in Cape Town at 4pm.

‘As Botswana’s capital, Gaborone is an important regional destination for business, with the city being home to thriving minerals, resources, automotive and tech sector companies,’ said Rodger Foster, Airlink CEO, as reported by Travel News.
‘And it hosts the Southern African Development Community headquarters. It is also an important leisure tourism gateway to many game lodges and the Gaborone Game Reserve,’ Foster added.
The flights connecting Cape Town to Gaborone will use Embraer E140 Regional Jets.
These planes have 44 seats and passengers get a ‘free 20kg luggage allowance’, and in addition, there’s a 15kg allowance for sporting equipment.
The service will include a ‘complimentary light meal and drinks’. All seats will either be window or aisle, as there are no middle seats on these planes.
