The People’s Choice Awards falls under the V&A’s annual Neighbourhood Awards and as the name suggests, the public has been called upon to act as the ultimate decision-makers.
The awards consist of two accolades, one dedicated to the top store and the other dedicated to the top restaurant – both determined by the people.

Votes may be cast between now and midnight on 11 September 2024 and the best part? Voters stand a chance to win a R3 500 V&A voucher in celebration of the Waterfront’s 35th birthday!
By allowing the public to cast their votes, locals are given the opportunity to support the establishments that amplify their V&A experience.
A shortlist, based on public nominations, has been made of the five best stores and restaurants.
The public is being called upon to decide the two holders of the number one spot.

The award winners are to be announced at a gala evening on 25 September 2024
