Reaaz Ahmed, co-owner of the branch, told Cape {town} Etc about the special moment.
“This store in particular is filled with so much love —not just from the food but from staff and customers, too.
“We’re so fortunate to be in a beautiful setting like the Waterfront and days like this make it even better.
“You know, it’s been so tough with COVID but moments like these just lift your spirits. All the staff have been so happy today.”
Clearly Nando’s is serving up serious heat, and not just from their peri sauce. This is actually the second couple who have gotten engaged at this outlet, with the first being a couple from overseas.
This sweet moment fills our hearts to the brim, proving that no matter where people get engaged, it’s an occasion to be celebrated – because love is simply the best and world needs more of it.
Visit Nando’s at the V&A Waterfront for a hearty plate of love.
