A humpback whale was spotted off the coast of Simon’s Town yesterday, according to a video posted on Facebook by the South Peninsula Whale Watchers Cape Town group.

In the video, a single humpback whale can be seen swimming until it eventually swims deeper, disappearing beneath the surface.

While enjoying lunch at the popular Belgian restaurant Den Anker at the V&A Waterfront, she got to watch a humpback whale swim in the harbour waters. Now that’s what you call a whale of a dining experience!
