It’s been a few good days of great Spring weather. The beaches are buzzing with chatter and Capetonians are taking full advantage of the glorious warm weather. It might be a little short-lived, Weather.com has predicted four rainy days for Cape Town next week.

According to their 10-day forecast, there is a a 50% chance of rain from Thursday, October 24 with temperatures dropping slightly to 18°C. Three more days of wet weather are expected thereafter, with temperatures staying pretty much the same throughout.

The Western Cape dam storage levels are 80.6% full according to the latest report on October 14. While we are out of the woods when it comes to Day Zero, there is no guarantee it will stay this way. Locals are urged to stay vigilant with daily water usage to ensure we never get into the same predicament we were in 2017 and 2018.
