More showers are in store for Cape Town to welcome the midweek mark; locals are expected be greeted tomorrow by what will hopefully be bountiful scattered showers.

Be sure to wrap up nice and warm and bring your umbrella along for your daily commute as forecasts predict chilly temperatures on Wednesday to go with the rain, with highs of 14°C and lows of 8°C. There is a 40% chance of precipitation.

Scattered showers are expected to make an appearance from as early as Tuesday evening and carry on into Wednesday morning then continue throughout the day.

As another rainy day approaches locals are hopeful that the showers will be enough to push the current overall dam levels back above the 50% mark.

Currently overall storage stands at 48% with the lowest dams such as Theewaterskloof standing at 39.3% full and Steenbras Lower at 39.9%.
