The Mother City has seen a few hot days of late. However, locals will soon have respite from the heat, as Cape Town is forecast to experience cooler weather and showers tomorrow.
Wednesday is predicted to be the only day this week that Cape Town receives rain. Temperatures will be rising again from Friday and carrying on into the new week, with Monday expected to have a high of 26°C.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be cloudy yet warm.
For the rest of Tuesday many areas of the Cape will be experiencing high temperatures ranging from 27°C highs in Cape Town to 37°C high in Beaufort West.
