Another two days of rain are making their way to Cape Town this week, with the possibility of a third depending on how the forecast changes over the next few days.

Locals can look forward to a rainy Thursday and Friday with a 20% chance of rain predicted for Wednesday as well.

Along with showers, Thursday will bring highs of 17°C and lows of 13°C, while Friday will usher in slightly cooler weather with high of 16°C and lows of 10°C.

Saturday and Sunday will be partly cloudy and Saturday will bring particularly cold weather with highs of 16°C and lows of a chilly 7°C.

The following Monday is expected to bring even more rain but only time will tell if this forecast stays the same.

Dam levels are thankfully over the 60% mark but residents would not complain about more rain to push the overall storage levels up further.

So be sure to bring your umbrella along for your daily commute from Wednesday just in case and keep those fingers crossed for generous rains.
