After an unusually warm start to the week, Cape Town is in for more rain this weekend and scattered showers next week. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday [June 17 to 19] will be warmer with temperatures ranging between highs of 22°C and lows of 10°C to 15°C.

On Saturday, June 20 there will be scattered showers with temperatures dipping to 17°C, with a low of 13°C.

More rain is predicted for Father’s Day and temperatures will range from 16°C to 9°C.

According to Weather.com, Monday, June 22 will be a cloudy day with small chance of precipitation. More rain is expected on Tuesday [June 22] and Wednesday [June 23] and temperatures will dip again to the low teens.

Ahead of four days of rain, the Mother City’s dams are at an overall storage of 58.2%.

Our fullest dams include Steenbras Upper at 99.2% as well as Berg River at a bountiful 73.8%.
