Cape Town’s rainy weather is not drawing to a close anytime soon, with forecasts predicting the Mother City is in for another good dousing. Capetonians can expect a rainy Thursday followed by more rain heading into the weekend.

Temperatures on Thursday, July 2 will be mild with scattered showers expected later in the afternoon. A high of 18°C is in store, paired with a low of 10°C.

Friday and Saturday, July 3 and 4 will offer sunnier weather conditions with temperatures dipping to highs of 17°C and lows of 9°C on Friday and 14°C on Saturday.

Sunday, July 5 will end the weekend off on a rainy note with scattered showers expected throughout most of the day. A high of 18°C can be expected as well as a low of 11°C.

Two more days of rain are on the cards for Cape Town next week with Tuesday, July 7 bringing scattered showers and Thursday, July 9 ushering in more rain according to Weather.com.

Ahead of the rainy weather, dam levels are at 63.4% with Steenbras Upper at 100.3% and Berg River at 82.3%.

It seems the picture for dam levels in coming weeks is a positive one with more rains expected and cool temperatures all round.
