Tie down your valuables and prepare for a windy rest of the week Mother City as the Cape Town Weather Office has issued a warning of strong winds for the Cape Metropole and beyond.
As of Thursday, February 27 locals can expect gale force winds from the South Easter moving at between 55 and 65km from the Cape Columbine and Cape Agulhas, as well as Cape Town.
Strong winds will spread along the south coast to Mossel Bay by Friday, February 20 and are expected to continue until Saturday.
The interior will also experience strong winds from Thursday especially over the Central Karoo area.
Windy weather may continue into the weekend in most areas and residents are advised to be cautious will traveling and to ensure all valuables around their homes are tied down or safely packed away.
