The long-anticipated Knysna Wine Festival is finally back and ready to flourish after its last rodeo two years ago pre-pandemic.
Wine lovers from across the land in the Western Cape know that the festival is the epitome of a wine-loving wonderland, and this year over 200 varietals will be offered in unlimited tastings thanks to 40 wineries.
Another special note for this year, is that #knysnawinefest2022 is making a return in celebration of its one-year anniversary at the Knysna Oyster Festival, of which the wine fest forms part.
The festival organisers note that in addition to wine wonders (from the Cape Winelands and Garden Route) guests will also get to dabble with craft beer, gin, liquers and whisky, and of course delicious craft cheeses as well as olive oils.
“We are very excited to finally have the wine festival after two years without,” Knysna Wine Festival event organizer Belinda Hobson said. “We’ve got great wines already signed up this year, and our festivalgoers are in for a real treat. It’s fantastic to be showcasing the wonderful bounty that our region offers.”
