Hope Distillery is a distillery in the heart of Cape Town, crafting small batch gins and other spirits.
Not only do they distil the flagship Hope Gins – a classic London Dry, fynbos infused Salt River and unusual Mediterranean Gin – but they also design and distil gins for other brands, including Musgrave Gin, Clemengold, Blossom & Hops and Southern Cross.
This festive season they have distilled three limited release gins inspired by Christmas past which will be available in a gorgeous gift pack. Their Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh Gift Packs will be available from the Distillery and select bottle stores in Cape Town during the festive season.
The Hope Distillery Tasting Room, which is open on Saturday afternoons between 12pm – 5pm, overlooks the Distillery floor, so you get to see where the magic happens. Hope on Hopkins gin tastings are done “DIY” style and served with tonic. The Tasting Room has a relaxed vibe, and you can enjoy the tasting at your own pace. There are also cheese and charcuterie platters available, and all of the gins, vodka and Esperanza agave spirit (aka tequila) are available for you to buy to take away.
