As if the incredibly beautiful packaging and gift potential isn’t enough to draw your eye in, perhaps knowing that they found a village in northern Malawi that had no chance of selling their coffee crop, and bought all of it, and did it again, and again…until the crop was big enough to include in the roasts you love… might make your heart melt.
Growing on the wonderful idea of Arise Coffee which is centred on the idea of us all helping one another, back in 2018 the Tribe team found the Misuku village in the far north of Malawi and with the help of MacMillian Kumwenda (a local farmer) they bought the entire cherry harvest (three bags).
This year the village produced over 200 bags of coffee and Tribe has secured all of it for you.
Tribe Coffee was founded on the idea that everyone deserves the luxury of “high end” quality coffee at a price they can afford. That ethos has grown as original founder, Jake Easton, also believes that, “…without wonderful people around you, you cannot create wonderful things.”
