Are you passionate about community and conservation? Nature Connect, on behalf of the Table Mountain Fund (TMF), is inviting NGO’s to apply to the 2026 Small Grants funding programme.
It is their final year of funding support for new and emerging organisations or individuals entering the conservation space.
They’re looking for projects with a focus on the Cape Floristic Region (CFR), based in the greater Cape Town area that connect people and nature through:
- Biodiversity enhancement, clean-ups, restoration, indigenous planting
- Sustainable livelihoods, recycling, skills development, green economy initiatives
- Environmental education, creating awareness in under-resourced communities

Grants of up to R36 000 per project are available.
Application Process
- Complete the Small Grants Funding Application Form
- Submit your application by the deadline on 4 November 2025.
- Following an initial review, shortlisted applicants will be notified by 19 November and invited to present their projects in person to the review panel during the week of 24 to 28 November 2025.
The review panel will then select and notify the successful grantees, with projects aiming to start mid-December/January
Applications close 4 November 2025.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to present their projects in person during late November 2025.
