A brand new restaurant Shakespeare’s is themed along the lines of the world famous British author’s era and will open on October 9 in Durbanville.
This modern retake on classic fine dining combines timelessness with a fun experience. The menu has a wide variety of enticing meat dishes, excellent wines and delectable sweet treats like sorbet and home-made ice cream.
“I have always been a big fan of Shakespeare’s works, and his wit and creativity is clearly translated in to our food,” says Adri Engelbrecht, the proud new owner. Promising a unique experience where the theatrics can be seen and tasted in the food and the presentation thereof. In the words of the great man himself: “Now good digestion wait on appetite, and health on both.”
They are situated in Heritage Square, on the corner of Vrede and Gladstone streets in Durbanville.
