Fine-dining eatery The Test Kitchen ranked 44th on a prestigious list of the world’s top restaurants. Featuring in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants is regarded as one of the highest honours for a culinary establishment. This year on June 25 2019, they were held in Asia for the first time.

The Test Kitchen opened its doors in The Old Biscuit Mill, Woodstock in November 2010. Over the years it has created a name for itself in the food industry and has an ever-long waiting list for bookings due to its sheer popularity. Chef Luke Dale-Roberts, the head chef at TTK, uses his creativity and experience to produce delicious meals, leading the establishment to the forefront of the industry.

TTK is known for their variety in food and flavour. The restaurant has had a great deal of success in the past, too; in 2012 and 2013 they were named as “Restaurant of the Year” at the Eat Out DStv Food Network Restaurant Awards, and also received “Restaurant of the Year” at the 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Restaurant Awards, to name but a few. The Test Kitchen won the award for the best restaurant in Africa.
