This recognition places Takunda among the country’s highest performing matric achievers for 2025 and highlights inclusive education success in the province.

Jan Kriel School posted a message of pride on its official Facebook page. ‘We are beyond proud to celebrate Takunda Muchuweni, who has been recognised as the Top LSEN student in South Africa,’ the school wrote.
