Who remembers troublemaker Sami Bradey from Days of Our Lives? Her vicious vixen ways caused much mayhem on the popular soapie. In reality, she is Alison Sweeney, dedicated mother of two and an avid traveller who was this week spotted in the Mother City lapping up the spectacular views.
Sweeney posted on Facebook that she had arrived in safely on Sunday and was hitting the ground running to check out as much of the city as she could with her family in tow. Her adventures took her to the Silo District and our world-famous Zeitz MOCAA Museum. The following day, she enjoyed a trip down our picturesque Peninsula Drive all the way through to Cape Point.
But she is not the only blonde celebrity bombshell visiting our city; sultry Revenge star Emily VanCamp and her husband Josh Bowman have also been spotted around Cape Town. VanCamp chose the more adventurous route. She climbed to the top of Table Mountain this weekend and conquered one of her biggest fears.
“I happen to have an almost paralyzing fear of heights so when the option to turn right and head up on the gondola presented itself the obvious choice for me was to push through the fear and turn left. The next 3+ hours were a huge test mentally and physically but worth every second. Mind over matter, one step at a time,” she said on her Instagram feed.
VanCamp also went Shark Cage Diving in Hermanus with Marine Dynamics and called it the highlight of her trip to Cape Town. Then it was on to Boulder’s Beach to check out some penguins. Watch her meander through the city on her Instagram feed. Who knows, you might be lucky enough to bump into one of these famous women.
