One of the Mother City’s favourite places to get creative, the Clay Cafe, is finally open to the public again. As lockdown restrictions ease, both the Hout Bay and Gardens locations have reopened.

In accordance with regulations, visitors can expect to receive the appropriate treatment when entering their stores, including sanitising, social distancing and contact recording.

Along with their usual fun and interactive pottery painting experience, Clay Cafe will also be serving winter-warmer meals and snacks.

The Hout Bay venue is more suited to families and those with small children, while the Gardens venue is aimed at adults.

Currently the venue in Hout Bay is open daily from 9am to 5pm and has just added waffles to their menu for kids to enjoy.

The Gardens venue is now open during the week and will accept patrons from 1.30pm to 9.30pm every weekday.

Those keen to get painting are encouraged to make a booking well in advance. Patrons will need to wear a mask at all times.

Bookings can be made at http://claycafe.co.za/bookings/ or via WhatsApp (061) 917-4191 or email [email protected] for the Gardens branch.
