DStv users are putting pressure on the service to cut their costs as SuperSport channels are not showing any live sports during the lockdown.

Subscribing to DStv Premium is something that most sport-lovers do to ensure that they don’t miss a second of live action for their favourite sports. The availability of the live sport offering makes the hefty price tag of the DStv service more worthwhile, but during lockdown this is certainly not the case.

As consumers continue to pay for the service despite the lack of live games, many are feeling taken advantage of.

If the hefty price tag with reduced offerings wasn’t enough, DStv also increased their prices in the first week of April, right in the middle of the nationwide lockdown.

Monthly fees for all packages went up and users are feeling more worse for wear than ever before.
