Soak up the sun on the slopes of Table Mountain and enjoy an afternoon listening to the world-class performances of South African Music Awards “Best Pop Album” winners GoodLuck, and Shekhinah this Sunday.
That’s right, folks, the local icons, GoodLuck and Shekhinah, will be sending good vibes and great music from the stage at the Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts, in association with the City of Cape Town.

Bring a blanket, pack your picnic baskets or pre-order from the Kirstenbosch Tea Room (24 hours in advance) or Moyo Restaurant (five days in advance), with all the details on the Kirstenbosch website.
The trio GoodLuck, who have over 80 million streams on Spotify and Apple Music, will headline the concert with their feet-stomping live electronic performances. As one of South Africa’s most successful music exports, Jules, Ben and Tim have been touring the world since 2013, spreading GoodLuck (pun definitely intended) across the globe.
They have produced a string of gold-selling records for their singles “Back in the Day”, “Be Yourself” and “Take it Easy”, not to mention a platinum-selling record for the single “I’ve Been Thinking About You”.
Their pioneering tech setup features drum machines, synthesisers, electronic percussion, saxophone and vocals. The band has risen to fame in South Africa as one of the most celebrated pop bands, selling out shows in South Africa, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, Namibia and Vietnam.

South African singer-songwriter Shekhinah is set to kick off this double dose of musical magic when she brings her popular pop and R&B beats to the masses. Shekhinah made her world debut when she competed in South Africa’s seventh and eighth seasons of Idols.
A decade later, in May 2021, she put out her second studio album, “Trouble in Paradise”, which was nominated for three SAMAs and won the “Best Pop Album” award in 2022.
Over the course of her career as an artist, she has joined international superstars such as John Legend, Ed Sheeran and Toni Braxton on the South African leg of their world tours.
