In a star-lit realm of crazy imagination, Kevin addresses life’s common eccentricities, from African roots to global follies. His new show Imagination has impersonations, cutting wit and a sanctuary of laughter on stage.
The six-city tour, which makes its world debut on 29 November at Emperor’s Palace in Johannesburg, promises a wildly inventive performance where the future and the familiar mix. Fraser will conclude his tour in Cape Town on 15 December at the CTICC.
‘My imagination has been running wild this year! After taking the soulful feeling of Africa around the world, my creative sparks have ignited something new. These sparks have laid the foundation for fresh comedy, delivering everything you’ve come to love, but with a bright, renewed twist. Life is meant to be laughed at, so join me as I poke fun at daily struggles, life’s quirks, and a future that seems as uncertain as ever, all wrapped in a fresh burst of hilarious satire!’ says Fraser.

Fraser’s signature ‘entertainment comedy’ style mixes stand-up comedy, dance and performance skills to capture audiences, eliciting laughter, joy and memorable moments that distinguish Fraser as a ‘stand alone’ not-to-be-missed ‘Entertainment Ambassador.’
His earlier tours, The Minister of Entertainment and Africa Is a Feeling, sold out locally before touring the UK, Middle East, Europe and Australia to critical acclaim and sold-out shows. This year, Kevin opens his Imagination globe tour in South Africa. You can now look forward to seeing one of your favourite talents perform on his own stage!
As a child, Kevin learnt he could not only make others dance but also laugh. His enthusiasm for performing and natural talent began to coalesce into something genuinely unique when he began releasing videos in 2015 about his experience as an expat overseas under the cover of stereotyped South African personalities. The success of these videos was immediate. Kevin’s career skyrocketed, and his fan base expanded across all of his platforms.
Fraser is now one of South Africa’s most popular comedians and content providers, having consistently surpassed the one million view mark with his daily observations and funny satires. His annual festive season travels are popular among South Africans.
‘Mzansi, prepare for lift off! Your imagination is about to go on a hilarious journey!’ adds Kevin Fraser.
