Renowned as a successful preschool TV show Entertainment One’s, Peppa Pig, the popular theatrical Peppa Pig Live tour is returning to South African shores in September 2019.
Presented by Ackermans the show will be called, “Peppa Pig’s Big Day Out” in association with Smile 904 FM, East Coast Radio and Hot 91.9FM.
In this thrilling adventure – Polly Parrot and Mr Dinosaur have vanished – leaving Peppa, George, Mummy & Daddy Pig to embark on an incredible journey to find the missing duo. As always – Peppa’s special friends (and firm fan favourites) Suzy Sheep, Danny Dog and Pedro Pony are on hand to help in the fantastic hunt!
“Peppa Pig’s Big Day Out” will open in Cape Town at the Artscape Opera House and run from September 6 to 8 2019.
Owing to the popularity of Peppa Pig and the overwhelming public demand for tickets, an extra Cape Town show has been added on Sunday, September 8 at Artscape commencing at 1 pm and for Gauteng fans, an additional show at Emperor’s Palace on Sunday September 22 at 1 pm.
The show then visits Durban at The Globe at Suncoast from September 13 to 15 2019 before heading to Emperors Palace in Johannesburg from September 20 to 29 2019. Tickets are on sale now at Computicket.
This action-packed live stage show is especially designed to give young fans an unforgettable first live theatre experience and encompasses all the charming, colourful nature of the hit television series with everyone’s favourite songs! Fans will be laughing, cheering and dancing – just like Peppa!

Each person, irrespective of age (including babes in arms) must have a show ticket.
Tickets will vary in cost depending on the seat and range from; CAT A R399; CAT B R349; CAT C R299; CAT D R199; CAT E R149; CAT F R99.
Family discount packages are available and is a special saving of R30 per ticket on all family packages of four or more tickets for CAT A-D, on selected shows.
