Saints Champagne Bar & Lounge has taken to social media to name patrons that have left the club without settling their bills and are currently still in arrears.
The uptown club where celebrities, artists and highflyers party put up its first notice on 5 November 2022.
It stated “Please note that you only have 12 hours to pay your outstanding overdue amount balances. Should you not pay the outstanding balances within the stipulated time, we would have no choice but to make your identities public on social media with your outstanding amounts“.
Clients have reached out to Saints Champagne Bar & Lounge for extensions and they have been granted till 7 November to settle their bills.
A few have not responded to the call and have had their pictures exposed along with the following message:
“We have reached out to you numerous times. In the form of phone calls, emails and text messages yet we have not received a response.”
“Please pay what you owe Saint Lounge with immediate effect,” stated Saints Champagne Bar & Lounge.
The establishment which is reopening on the 25th of November is undergoing renovations share it was was motivated to put out the notices for its “Most Wanted” due to obligations that need to be met in order to keep the club running.
“We have a duty to pay suppliers, staff, artists, talents, agents, attorneys, the City of Cape Town, government and contractors, they too have expenses and responsibilities, same with the people they need to pay to.”
The posts have stirred up mixed emotions from the club’s social media followers and industry associates.
