The District Six Museum announced in September they may be forced to close its doors after 25 years due to the impact of coronavirus on their business. Since then, locals have been rallying to save this beloved and important institution.

Comedians Marc Lottering, Riaad Moosa and Nik Rabinowitz are the latest to join the efforts. They are teaming up once again to put on a top class stand-up comedy show to benefit the Musuem.

Their alter ego’s Aunty Merle, Aeysha and Beryl have also promised to make an appearance. It’s been more than a decade since these three have been able to coordinate their diaries to be in one room, at the same time.

The show will be streamed live from inside District Six Museum on Saturday, October 31 until Monday, November 2, and all proceeds go to the Museum.

Tickets cost R80 and are available on Quicket.
