Tyla, a South African music sensation, appeared on the Victoria’s Secret runway on 15 October, in Brooklyn, New York, Cape {town} Etc reports.

Tyla hit the stage wearing feather wings and metallic underwear with intricate detailing.
The 22-year-old sang her hit song ‘Water’ and her new single ‘PUSH 2 START’.
Tyla was also spotted on the pre-show carpet, wearing a pink outfit.
At the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which returned after a year-long sabbatical, US singer Cher headlined an all-female line-up.
While some were unimpressed with Victoria’s Secret’s return, which had not held a fashion show since 2018, we believe the presentation was legendary because, in addition to Tyla’s electrifying performance, there was a lot of diversity and inclusivity on the runway.
The line-up included industry supermodels such as Anok Yai, who made her Victoria’s Secret debut and is famous for being the first South Sudanese model and the second black supermodel after Naomi Campbell to open a Prada show.
Valentina Sampaio, the first transgender model to represent the brand in 2019, made her runway debut.
The brand also invited back industry veterans Alessandra Ambrosio, Tyra Banks, and Adriana Lima, striking a mix between displaying new and old talent.
The programme also included next-generation icons Taylor Hill and Barbara Palvin.
