South Africa’s director of rugby, Rassie Erasmus, has been a source of entertainment after sharing hilarious videos, much to the enjoyment of his Twitter followers.
From displaying a well-stocked bar and ice-cold beer to entertaining videos of his English Bulldog Frank, South Africans have been in stitches with many calling him a “legend”. But many were quick to point to official documents stashed behind a wine cabinet as screenshots flooded the comments. One Twitter follower even said “Rassie for president!!” while laughing at the video.

Frank the Bulldog also had his fair share of being in the spotlight as Erasmus teased him in a series of videos. This adorable dog has been shown to get upset and bark at Erasmus every time he is told he is an “English bulldog” as Erasmus details Frank’s “journey to South Africa”.

Erasmus is serving a two-month ban from all rugby activities while being suspended from all match-day activities until September 30, 2022. This comes after an investigation was conducted by an independent committee that found Erasmus in the hot seat for compiling a video in which he pointed out and broke down errors made by Australian referee Nic Berry in the first Test between the Springboks and British Lions in July.
But this doesn’t seem to be dampening his spirits after Erasmus was seen jamming to the lyrics “Ice, Ice baby”, but replacing it with “ban, ban, baby”.
His latest post is captioned “Okay, but I will probably delete if I get to much “bite” from South Africans!

But not everyone is joining in on the celebrations as many Twitter users called Erasmus’ behaviour “embarrassing”. On the other hand, others are having quite the laugh. Here are some of the responses:
