Most of the putt-putt courses in Cape Town are outside, and subject to the whims of the weather – but not these two fantastic putt-putt spots. We’ve got great news for you, it’s both indoors, so it can be played and enjoyed in any weather.

Don’t let the rainy weather keep you indoors because you can still have some fun with friends or family indoors. Here’s where you can whack some balls at indoor putt-putt courses with the kiddies and practice your “putting” skills over the weekend:
1. Cave Golf
Cave Golf is an 18-hole putt-putt course inside a man-made cave, complete with tricky angles, uneven surfaces and some interesting obstacles. Without a doubt, the layout is fun to play and despite being relatively short and compact, it’s well-designed and challenging enough to be enjoyed even by regular golfers.
It’s also right next door to the Scratch Patch, where kids will love scratching through over 100 different semi-precious stones for brightly coloured treasure.

2. Glowing Rooms 3D Mini Golf
- Location: 1 Turf Club Drive, Milnerton, Cape Town
- Operating hours: Saturdays 10am-8pm and Sundays 10am-4pm
Winter can often result in cabin-fever with the cold and rain keeping everyone inside. So if you need an outing, pop in to these two fun indoor putt-putt venues for a round of indoor cave golf or take it up a notch with an epic glow-in-the-dark mini golf experience.
There’s nothing as challenging but yet fun to get a ball around, over or under one or more obstacles. With the goal to get the ball into the hole by hitting it as few times as possible—which can be a fun and timely activity with all the obstacles in the way.
