Cape Town audiences are in for a treat this November as two of South Africa’s most beloved creative forces unite for an unforgettable stage experience, Cape {town} Etc reports.
The world-renowned Zip Zap Circus will team up with the iconic Freshlyground for Take Me Home, a dazzling fusion of circus brilliance and live music that promises to stir hearts and lift spirits.
The limited-run production will take over the Artscape Opera House from 14 to 16 November 2025, featuring five performances only, a weekend packed with soaring acrobatics, soulful melodies, and unmatched artistry. Showtimes include Friday at 7:30pm, Saturday at 2pm and 7:30pm, and Sunday at 1pm and 5pm.
Take Me Home is more than a show, it’s a celebration of rhythm, connection, and belonging. Zip Zap’s world-class performers will share the stage with Freshlyground, whose distinctive sound has long embodied South Africa’s joyful spirit. Together, they’ll deliver a theatrical explosion of movement and music, weaving together stories of unity and artistry that audiences won’t forget.

Since its founding in 1992, the Cape Town-based circus has grown into a beacon of social transformation, empowering over 3 000 young people each year through its nine free youth and outreach programmes.
