KAMERS/Makers’ first half of 2019 has been nothing short of amazing, with thousands of handpicked, handmade South African products being showcased at its autumn shows in Cape Town and Joburg.

Staying in Jozi, it launched its first ever Spring Celebration during the last week of August, returning to the exquisite environs of St John’s College. The fantastic turnout at this second Joburg show was a real boost and means KAMERS/Makers have now launched almost 100 brand new Makers in 2019!

“And with many of these reporting record sales, we must send a heartfelt thank you to the SA public who continue to boost our artisan SME economy,” it said.

Partners Against Plastic

Consol Glass have proved to be the perfect partner: their new pop-up shop was a show-stopper at St John’s, with shoppers getting first pick of new products and fantastic show specials. This will be an ongoing feature at all future shows. Together the market also finally achieved its goal of using ZERO PLASTIC in the KAMERS/Markers deli. Furthermore, the hugely popular Consol Curvy water bottle giveaways have to date prevented a staggering 120 000 plastic bottles from ending up in SA landfills!

Visitors to the Stellenbosch show can expect a limited edition Breast Cancer Awareness Grip & Go bottle from Consol with their entry ticket.

Don’t forget that you can access the KAMERS/Makers magic 24/7 at shop.kamersvol.com an award-winning online selection of our favourite Makers.
